It is amazing how time seems to stand still in certain parts of the country while they try to pull the rest back to an era that is mercifully gone. It has been almost a 100 years since the Scopes Monkey trial made unforgettable by Spencer Tracy in 'Inherit the Winds'. But we have history to learn from and to stop us going back to full blown MCarthysm. Hopefully. Fingers crossed.
